Thanks Sharky. Alex had a great time at the rodeo.

Alex sends a big thank you to Ben Fraser as well.

She had never even seen a rodeo and with two half day lessons from Ben managed to place second in the Jr. Women category.

My Son and Wife learned a lot as well and had a great time at the lessons.

Really….. Who is this? This can’t be the same Kevin that bitches and complains spouting that rodeo is dead? What happen to “No rodeo events on weekends”? Oh my God you turned into one of them. Time for an intervention, I will bring the beer.

Did you see me enter the rodeo? NO!
Did you see me at the rodeo? NO!
I was doing what all rec. boaters do on their long weekends. Kayaking with their clubs and buddies.

However you fail to take into account the teenagers sometimes like to rebel against their parents.

What better way for her to drive a stake through my heart than to enter a rodeo? The secret with kids is not to let them know that they are killing you inside.

This rodeo was actually the very type of rodeo that I am against. Using a minor feature that beginners can play on and taking control of it on a weekend is something I personally disagree with.

However having a rodeo at Phils or Bussy or Kahuna rarely interferes with mortal boaters. I was impressed when the rodeos were on major features.

So really nothing much has changed.

Don't let that stop you from bringing the beer though.
