Consider the Coucou/Gatineau which includes Le Scenique, but really your criteria lends itself to dam controlled rivers like the already mentioned lower section of the Gens de Terre. The Pet, Mad and Dumoine are very popular leaving the haute Lievre or Bazin as a better option for seeking solitude.
Or, you could run the main & middle on the Ottawa over and over again and enjoy the warm showers & indoor plumbing...

Bump if someone knows of somebody/outfitter who will shuttle for the Bazin river. I've had no luck and rather not do a fly in for this river. Hitch hiking is not a great option for me as I paddle with my dog.
Cheers

Ran that river last summer and Trailhead did the very long shuttle for us.
Bring a fishing rod. We caught lots of walleye and pike last year. Could have fed ourselves for the whole trip.

I am going to be doing it again this spring in May sometime, and will be doing it over two days: camp at putin, day one paddle half camp halfway down below a LARGE slide, day two paddle to river mouth, day three get picked up by fisherman and brought the 25 kms back to Wawa(you leave a car at the fishermans).
